Once a server is connected, choose which of its tools your agent can use, and make sure the selection is saved before you test.
Open the Tools tab
Go to Customer Service, then Settings, then Integrations, and open the Tools tab. The Enable MCP switch shows or hides the MCP card. Your agent can use MCP once a server is connected and your plan includes it (Compare Mando plans and pricing).
Choose the allowed tools
On the connected card, the list Tools the AI can use shows every tool from your server with a checkbox. Check the tools the agent may call, and uncheck the ones it should not.
Save the selection
Your changes do not apply until you click Save selection. If you leave the page without saving, the agent keeps the set you saved before. A saved change takes effect on the next customer message.
Confirm before testing
- The list header shows how many tools are allowed of the total.
- Send a test message that should trigger a tool.
- If it does not fire, check the tool is still checked and the connection passes Test Connection.
The switch does not stop a connected agent
Turning the Enable MCP switch off hides the card, but it does not stop a connected agent from using tools. To stop MCP entirely, disconnect the server.
