Work tickets on the Kanban board

The Kanban board groups tickets into status columns you drag between. Learn how to move a ticket, how to read a card, and how to handle a very full column.

The Tickets page opens on the Kanban board. Each column is a status, and every ticket sits in the column that matches where it is in your process.

Move a ticket

The four columns are Open, In progress, Waiting on customer, and Resolved. To change a ticket's status, drag its card to a new column: the hint reads "Drag a card to a new column to change its status." Dragging a card within the same column just reorders it and shows no confirmation.

Read a card

  • The card shows the subject, the priority, the category, and the assignee if there is one.

  • The starter demo ticket carries a Demo badge and is safe to delete once you have looked around.

  • Click a card to open the ticket and work it.

A full column

Each column shows the first several tickets with a Show more link to expand the rest. The board loads up to a few hundred tickets at once; if you have more than that, use the Table view and filters to find a specific one.
