You can download a copy of your conversations for a date range. Mando builds the files in the background and emails you private download links when they are ready.

Who can export

Exporting is limited to organization admins. The option lives in Customer Service settings, under Export Chats. If you are not an admin, the page shows a message instead of the form.

Run an export

  1. Open Customer Service settings and go to Export Chats.
  2. Pick a Start date and an End date. The range can cover at most one month.
  3. Click Export chats.

Dates are read in UTC, so a day may start and end a few hours off from your local time.

What you get

When the export is ready, you get an email with private links to three files: a list of conversations, a list of all messages, and a full export. The full message history is included, with images and voice notes as links, and internal team notes too.

The links work for 7 days. After that, run the export again to get fresh links.

How conversations are chosen

An export includes every conversation that started inside your date range. A conversation that started in the range brings its whole message history, even messages sent outside the range.

To cover a longer period, run one export per month and combine the files.
