Add the Options node
Tappable buttons come from the Options node, which lives in the Canvas view only. Open the canvas, drag on an Options node, and select it to edit its settings. Its description is "Ask a multiple-choice question."
Set up the buttons
Fill the Question prompt shown above the buttons, then add each button label. Every button has an optional "also matches" field for synonyms, so a typed reply like "refund" can map to a button. Add option adds more. The tapped button's label is saved into the variable set in Write to variable.
Typed replies and channels
The Unmatched-input policy and Max reprompt attempts decide what happens when someone types instead of tapping: re-ask, classify with AI, or hand to the AI. Keep to three buttons or fewer to fit every channel; more buttons degrade to a list or numbered text on messaging apps, and long labels are shortened there.
Wire each button
Every button, plus the fallback, gets its own output connection on the canvas. Wire all of them to the next step before you can turn the flow on.
