When you add or sync content, it does not appear in AI Search instantly. It goes through a couple of steps first, and a short cache can make it look slower than it is.
First, confirm it is eligible
New content only becomes searchable once it is published, customer-facing, and shared with your search app. If any of these is missing, it will never appear, no matter how long you wait. See Choose which content AI Search can use.
Then give it a moment to prepare
Instant keyword matches can appear soon after the content is published and shared.
The smarter, meaning-based results appear only after the content finishes preparing in the background. Very large items may take longer or may not be included.
If a search still looks empty
Results are briefly cached, so a query you just ran can keep showing its earlier, empty result for a little while even after the content is ready. Wait a short time and search again, or try a slightly different wording. If it still does not appear after that, re-check the three conditions above.
