When AI Search does not show on your site at all, one of a few things is stopping it. Check them in order.
1. Is it installed correctly?
If you pasted the code, it must sit just before the closing tag on the page.
If you chose Run search through your AI agent, Mando's chat widget must already be on the site for search to load with it.

2. Are the switches on?
Show search on my website must be on.
Active must be on. See Pause or turn off AI Search.
3. Is a domain rule blocking it?
If you turned on the allowed domains list, the widget only loads on the addresses you listed. Make sure your exact site address, including the right subdomain, is in the list.
4. Is there nothing to open it?
With the AI-agent option, AI Search does not add its own floating button. If it also cannot find your search box, there is nothing for a visitor to click. Add data-mando-search-trigger to your search element, or paste the code snippet instead so the fallback button appears. Note the "Connected" status reflects recent search activity, not whether the code is installed.
