AI Search returns no results on my website

Empty AI Search results usually come down to content sharing, or a switch that is off. Work through these checks in order to get your results showing again.

If AI Search shows nothing on your site, the content is usually not eligible, or the widget is switched off. Check these in order.

1. Is your content eligible?

A page or product shows in results only when all three are true: it is published, it is customer-facing, and it is shared with this search app. Open the item in your Content Library and confirm all three. See Choose which content AI Search can use.

  • Watch the Share with Co-pilot only switch: turning it on makes the item internal and removes it from search.

  • For products from a connected store, sharing is managed by the store sync, so fix it at the integration, not per product.

2. Is the widget switched on?

  • Show search on my website must be on (Deploy step).

  • Active must be on (Settings > General). While it is off, every search returns empty.

3. Anything filtering it out?

  • If you turned on the allowed domains list, it must include your exact site address; otherwise the live widget returns nothing while the dashboard preview still works.

  • The out-of-stock setting hides out-of-stock products; see What content appears in AI Search results.

  • Just added or synced content? It may still be preparing, or a recent result may be briefly cached. See the article on new content not showing yet.
