Choose which content AI Search can use

Share a content item with your AI Search app and keep it customer-facing so it appears in results. Learn where each control lives and one trap to avoid.

You decide what AI Search can use per content item, in the Content Library. Two things have to be set for an item to appear in results.

Share it with your search app

  1. Open the content item in your Content Library.

  2. In its Share With list, add your AI Search app.

  3. Save.

Only website pages and store products can be shared with a search app. See What Share With means in Mando.

Keep it customer-facing

The item must stay customer-facing. In the sidebar this is the Share with Co-pilot only switch, and it is worded the opposite way round: turning it on makes the item internal and removes it from AI Search, even while your search app is still in Share With. Leave it off for anything you want customers to find.

Products from a connected store

Products synced from Shopify, Salla, Zid, or WooCommerce have their sharing managed by the store sync, so editing their Share With by hand does not stick; the next sync resets it. To keep out-of-stock products out of search, use the out-of-stock rule in AI Search settings rather than unsharing them one by one.
