A collection is a folder that groups related articles on your help center, so readers can browse by topic. You create them in your content library.
Create a collection
Open your help center and go to Content.
Click New Collection.
Give it a Collection Name (required), pick an Icon, and add a Description if you want one. The description is used on your help center only.
Click Create Collection.
A new collection goes live on your public help center straight away, even before it has any articles, so create it when you are ready for readers to see it.
Put articles in it
Open an article, and in the sidebar use Move To to choose the collection. The move is saved when you save the article. You can also nest a collection inside another this way.
Before you delete a collection
Deleting a collection is permanent and cascades: every article and every sub-collection inside it is deleted too, and there is no undo. Move anything you want to keep out of it first. Collections themselves are not searched by the AI; only the articles inside them are. To control which agents can use those articles, see Choose which agents can use a content item.
