To let your AI agent answer phone calls on a Twilio number, connect your Twilio account to Mando once. You paste a Twilio API Key, and Mando handles the call routing for any number you pick. Your Twilio bill stays with Twilio.
Open the connect form
Go to Customer Service > Settings > Voice. Make sure Enable Voice is on, then find the Phone Number card. It shows two fields: API Key SID and API Key Secret.
Create a Twilio API Key
Open How do I get an API Key? under the fields, then in the Twilio Console:
- Go to API Keys & Tokens and click Create API Key.
- Give it a friendly name such as Mando AI and set the key type to Standard.
- Copy the SID (it starts with SK) and the Secret. The Secret is shown only once.
Paste and connect
Paste the SID and Secret into the two fields and click Connect Twilio account. Mando validates the key with Twilio and, on success, flips the card to Twilio connected. You can then pick a number to wire to your agent.
The connection is saved for your whole organization, so every app can pick a number from the same Twilio account.
