What a Guided Flow is
A Guided Flow chains several steps into a single run. In one conversation it can greet the customer, ask questions, save the answers, call your systems, and branch on what comes back. In the dashboard the feature appears as Workflow with a Beta badge, but it is the same thing.
Create one
Open the Automations page and select + Create. In the "What do you want to build?" chooser, pick the Workflow card and select Build a workflow. There is no name prompt: the flow is auto-named Workflow 1, Workflow 2, and so on. Rename it later from the name field in the editor header.
What you start with
A new flow opens in the simple Steps view. It already has a Starts when trigger set to "A customer messages" and one Collect step that asks for an order number. Steps run top to bottom, and each step can use values saved by the steps above it.
Two ways to edit
The Steps view is a linear list, best for straightforward flows. The Canvas view is a node map for branching and integrations. Switch between them with the "Canvas view" and "Simple view" buttons. Your work is saved as a draft in your browser until you publish it.
