The AI Search widget shows its own buttons and labels in Arabic (right to left) or English, and it decides which from your website, not from a setting in Mando. This surprises people, so here is exactly how it works.
It follows your website
The widget reads your web page's language and shows its chrome in Arabic or English to match. An Arabic page also makes the whole widget lay out right to left.
Only Arabic and English are built in. If your page is in another language, the widget falls back to English buttons.
To make the widget Arabic and right to left, make sure the page it is on is set to Arabic. The widget then follows automatically.
What the Languages setting does
The Languages card in your search app settings sets the app's default and supported languages for your content, but it does not change the live widget's button language or reading direction. Those come from the page, as above.
The placeholder text
You can set your own Search placeholder in the Configure step. Leave it empty and the widget uses a built-in placeholder in the visitor's language automatically. To install or move the widget, see Add AI Search to your website with code.
