You choose how AI Search opens on your site, and how its results are arranged, from the Configure step of your search app's playground. Both save as soon as you pick them.
Dropdown or full page
Open your AI Search app and go to the Configure step.
Under Layout, choose Dropdown or Full page.
Dropdown (the default) is a compact box that opens over your page. Best for a quick lookup.
Full page is an immersive full-screen experience with a filter rail and rich result cards. Best for browsing a large catalogue.
List or grid
Under Result layout, choose List (the default), which stacks results in compact rows, or Grid, a card grid that suits browsing products visually. This applies inside both the dropdown and the full-page layout.
