Add a Message step
In the Steps view, select Add step and choose Message. It has a single Message text field. On the canvas the same thing is the Send Message node. Type the text the bot should send.
Insert a saved value
To drop a value the flow has already collected into the text, use a token in the form {$workflow_var:key}. The Message field shows this hint below it. For example, "Thanks, we found order {$workflow_var:order_number}." If the value has not been set, the token becomes empty text rather than showing an error.
Several messages in a row
Consecutive Message steps send several bubbles back to back in the same turn, until the flow reaches a step that waits for a reply, such as a question or a set of buttons. Split a long message into a couple of steps when you want it to arrive as separate bubbles.
