Pending means Mando registered your domain but the DNS records have not been confirmed yet. Work through these in order, because each step rules out the one after it.
1. Give it time
DNS changes can take up to 48 hours to reach every network, and the dashboard warns about exactly that under the status badge. If you added the records within the last few hours, wait before changing anything.
2. Check the records match exactly
The Host must match the table. For help.example.com that is help on its own, not the full domain and not @.
A CNAME value must be domains.mando.cx with nothing added before or after it.
A bare domain such as example.com shows Host @ and needs the two A records instead. Most providers reject a CNAME there, and some accept it and then never resolve.
Do not add the CNAME and the A records together. Pick one option and delete the other.
3. Remove records that conflict
An old A, AAAA or CNAME record on the same host keeps answering ahead of the new one, and so does the parked page record some registrars add by default. Delete the old records for that host and leave only what the table shows.
4. Force a fresh check
Saving the same domain again does nothing, because Mando only acts when the value actually changes. To make it check from scratch:
Clear the Custom Domain field and save.
Type the domain again and save.
The domain is registered again from a clean state and any status being held is dropped, so the check starts over.
5. If the status block disappears
When the whole Setup Status section vanishes rather than showing a badge, the domain lookup came back with nothing. Re-add the domain as in step 4. If it comes back empty a second time, contact us with the domain name and we will check it from our side.
