You try to switch a Workflow on from the Automations list and it will not activate. The usual cause is that the flow draft lives in your browser, and it is not in the browser you are using now.
Why the list toggle fails
Turning a flow on from the list uses the draft saved in that browser. If you built the flow on another computer, another browser, an incognito window, or after clearing site data, this browser has no draft to publish, so you see Open this workflow and publish it to activate it.
The fix
Open the flow with Edit, then turn it Live from inside the editor. If the draft is not here either, reopen the flow on the browser where you built it and publish from there.
Other reasons a flow will not go Live
Inside the editor the Live toggle can be blocked too. In the canvas it stays off with Wire N handle(s) to go live until every step is connected. In the step view it is blocked with Fix the highlighted fields to save until every field is valid. Activating a Workflow also needs the Business plan, and only one Workflow can be live per app.
