If you belong to more than one Mando workspace, the organization switcher in the top bar moves you between them. Everything in the dashboard belongs to whichever organization you currently have open, so switching is how you reach a different set of apps, conversations and billing.
Steps
- Look at the top bar. The switcher shows the name of the organization you are in right now.
- Select it to open the list of organizations you belong to.
- Choose the one you want. Mando reloads into that workspace and takes you to its home page.
What you should see
The switcher now shows the new organization's name, and the sidebar, apps and inbox all belong to it. Nothing carries over from the workspace you were in.
If you have no organization open
When you sign in without an active workspace, Mando shows a full page list of your organizations instead. Pick one to go straight into it. Mando does not offer a personal workspace, so you always work inside an organization.
Troubleshooting
An app, conversation or contact is missing
This is almost always the wrong workspace rather than lost data. Apps and their content never move between organizations. Open the switcher and check which one you are in.
An organization is not in my list
You only see organizations you are a member of. Ask an admin of that workspace to invite you, then it appears in the switcher.
Frequently asked questions
Does switching change my dashboard language?
No. Your dashboard language is stored in your browser and follows you across every organization.
Can I be in two organizations at once?
Not in one tab. The dashboard always has exactly one organization open. Use a second browser tab if you need to look at two workspaces side by side.
Where do I manage the organization I am in?
Selecting the manage option in the switcher takes you to the Team page for that workspace, which is where members and roles live.
