Your organization timezone tells Mando what "today" and "now" mean for your business. Your AI agent uses it when a customer asks about dates and times, and Mando uses it when it normalizes dates that an AI Action collects. Set it once, in your organization settings.
Steps
- Open your organization Settings.
- Find the Timezone section.
- Pick your zone from the list. It is grouped by region, with Middle East zones such as Riyadh, Dubai, Kuwait, Qatar and Bahrain at the top.
- If your zone is not listed, select Use my browser timezone. Mando reads the zone your computer is set to and fills it in.
- Check the current time shown next to your selection, then save.
What you should see
The preview shows the current time in the zone you picked, which is the quickest way to confirm you chose the right one. If Mando rejects the value, the zone name was not a real one; use the browser shortcut instead of typing it by hand.
What the organization timezone does not control
This is the part that catches people out. Two things you might expect it to drive have their own settings:
- Working hours are set separately, with their own timezone. Open your agent, go to Settings, and set the timezone inside the working hours section. Changing your organization timezone does not move your opening hours, and working hours fall back to UTC when their own timezone is left empty.
- The daily summary report is not sent on your local clock. It runs on a fixed schedule and measures the previous day in server time, so a team far from that clock sees a window that does not match their calendar day.
Frequently asked questions
Does changing the timezone affect conversations that already happened?
No. It changes how your agent interprets dates and times from now on. Existing conversations are not rewritten.
My agent gave a customer the wrong day. Is this why?
It can be. If the organization timezone is unset or wrong, the agent reasons about dates from a different clock than your customers. Set the correct zone, then test by asking the agent something date related in the Playground.
Do I need to set this for each app?
No. The timezone belongs to the organization, so every app inside it shares the same one. Working hours are the exception and are set per agent.
Which timezone should a Saudi business pick?
Asia/Riyadh. It is at the top of the list, and the current time preview confirms it before you save.
