A Newsroom is a public content site you publish from Mando, for announcements, news, and updates, like a blog or press page. Readers browse and search it on your own web address.

What it holds

  • Articles, the posts readers open.

  • Collections, which group articles into browsable sections.

  • Tags, flat labels you can add to articles to group related posts.

It uses the same content model as a help center, but it is its own public site with its own address.

Where it lives and what it needs

  • A Newsroom is its own app in the dashboard, with Overview, Content, and Settings.

  • Newsroom is available on the Light plan and above, and your plan sets how many newsrooms you can have. See Compare Mando plans and pricing.

  • Its default public address is your-id.mando.news; you can point a custom domain at it later.

Getting started

Create a Newsroom, write and publish a few articles, group them into collections, then turn the site on and open it to check it as a reader. Each of those steps has its own article.
