Your payment failed or your plan says Past due

What the Past due badge on your plan means, what happens while it is showing, and the single step that resolves it before your plan drops back to Free.

Your Billing page shows a Past due badge on your plan. It means a payment did not go through.

Almost always this is an expired card, a card that has been replaced, or a bank declining an international or recurring charge. It is rarely anything more complicated.

What happens while it shows

Your plan keeps working. Your agents carry on answering, your team keeps using the inbox, and your plan limits are unchanged while the payment is being retried.

Nothing is deleted at any point in this process. Your content and conversations are not at risk.

How to fix it

  1. Open Billing.
  2. Select Manage card details.
  3. On the secure page that opens, add a working card or update the existing one.

Once a payment succeeds, the badge clears on its own. If it is still showing shortly afterwards, use the refresh control on the Billing page.

Do not wait for a reminder

This is the part worth taking seriously. The badge on the Billing page is the only place Mando shows you this. There is no banner across the dashboard, no email and no alert.

So if nobody on your team opens the Billing page, the first thing you are likely to notice is your plan quietly reverting to Free once the payment stops being retried. Fix it when you see the badge rather than assuming a reminder is coming.

If your plan has already dropped to Free

If the payment was never resolved, your workspace returns to the free plan. Your content and conversations stay, but free plan limits apply, so extra agents and content above the free allowance stop being usable until you subscribe again.

Subscribing again from the Billing page restores your limits.

Other statuses you might see

Trial means you are in a trial period. Active means everything is in order. Cancelling on a date means you cancelled and your plan runs until then.

If you are billed through a store, payment problems are handled on that platform rather than here.
