Your Shopify store is connected but the chat bubble does not appear on your storefront.
One thing to know before you start: when the widget cannot load, it stops quietly and leaves no error in your browser console. That silence is deliberate, so a problem on our side can never break your store. It also means the console will not tell you anything, and you should work through the checks below instead.
Check in this order
- Is the app embed enabled and saved in your theme? This is the cause most of the time. Enabling it is a separate step from connecting the store, and it needs a Save in the theme editor.
- Is your AI agent turned on? A disabled agent serves nothing.
- Is the website widget switched on? There is a separate setting controlling whether the widget shows on websites. If it is off, your other channels keep working while the bubble stays hidden.
- Do you have a domain allowlist enabled? If you restricted the widget to specific domains, your storefront domain has to be on that list.
- Is the store still connected? If the store was disconnected or the app uninstalled, the widget stops serving. Check the Shopify tile in Sources.
After you fix something, wait a minute
When the widget is not being served, that answer is briefly cached in the visitor browser. So immediately after you correct the cause, a reload can still show nothing.
Wait about a minute, then hard reload the page. Judging your fix in the first few seconds is the most common way to conclude it did not work when it did.
Frequently asked questions
Nothing appears in my browser console. Is that a bug?
No, it is intended. The widget fails silently so it can never interfere with your storefront.
Does reaching my plan limit hide the widget?
No. The widget keeps serving.
It works on some pages but not others.
Check that the embed is enabled in the theme you are actually publishing, since a different active theme will not have it.
