Once the Mando CX plugin is installed and activated on your site, you pair the two by copying a code from WordPress into Mando.
One thing to get straight before you start, because it trips people up: the pairing code is generated by the plugin, not by Mando. You will not find a button in the Mando dashboard that creates one. You copy it out of WordPress and paste it in.
Steps
- In WordPress, open Mando CX in the admin sidebar and copy the 8 character code under Pairing code.
- In Mando, open Content Library, then Sources, and select Connect Site on the WooCommerce / WordPress card.
- Fill in WordPress Site URL. Use the https address of your site.
- Under Connect to Agents, pick at least one AI agent that should be able to use this content.
- Paste the code into Pairing Code.
- Select Connect. The button stays disabled until all three fields are filled.
Codes do not last long, so copy and paste within a few minutes rather than leaving it until later.
Then finish in WordPress
Connecting establishes the link. It does not decide what syncs.
Go back to Mando CX in wp-admin, choose which content types to sync and which agents can use them, then select Save and Sync. Until you do that, your site is paired but your agent has nothing new to work with.
Frequently asked questions
My site URL has a typo. Will pairing catch it?
Not as a spelling check. If the address is wrong, the plugin cannot be reached and pairing fails with a connection error instead.
Do I need to be an admin in Mando?
Yes. Connecting a site requires Admin or Super Admin.
Can I connect more than one site?
On the free plan you get one website or store in total.
