Your Shopify install ended on a screen headed Almost there, telling you the connection could not be finished automatically, with Try again and Go to dashboard buttons.
What it actually means
This screen appears when the setup on the Mando side did not complete. It is not caused by anything you did in Shopify: you reach this page only after Shopify has already handed you back, so an approval you declined or a window you closed would never bring you here.
The two real causes
1. Your workspace was still being created. A brand new workspace builds your first AI agent in the background, and the install can arrive a few seconds ahead of it. Mando retries on its own for about ten seconds before showing this screen. This is the common case and Try again fixes it.
2. Something is genuinely blocking the connection. Either you are on the free plan and already have another website or store connected, or your account is a Member rather than an Admin. In both cases Try again will keep failing, because retrying does not change a plan limit or a permission.
The screen does not distinguish between these, which is why a second failed attempt is your signal to check the two conditions below rather than keep pressing.
What to do
- Select Try again once. If your workspace was simply still setting up, the connection continues from here.
- If it fails a second time, check your role. You need to be an Admin or Super Admin. If you are a Member, ask an admin to run the install.
- Check your plan. On the free plan only one website or store can be connected at a time, so remove the existing source in Content Library, then Sources, or upgrade.
- Once the blocker is cleared, select Go to dashboard and connect from the Shopify tile in Sources.

No. The store is either connected or not, and this screen means not.
