The Audience Import add-on unlocks bringing contacts into Mando from outside it.
If you have tried to import a CSV or create a contact and been shown a message about an add-on, this is the one it means.
What it unlocks
Two things, and they are gated together:
- Importing contacts from a CSV file
- Creating a contact by hand
People often expect the second to be free because it is only one person at a time. It is not, and knowing that saves you hunting for a setting that does not exist.
What stays free
The rest of the CRM works without it. Contacts your agents collect from conversations arrive automatically, and you can search, filter, organise into lists, build segments and delete contacts, all with no add-on.
The add-on is only about bringing in contacts Mando did not gather itself.
How to buy it
- Open Billing.
- Find Audience Import in the Add-ons section.
- Select Add and confirm.
You can also get there from the message itself, which links to your add-ons.
It is available on Light, Growth and Business, and it is a single unlock rather than something you buy several of.
Then import
Go back to CRM, then Contacts, and the Import and Create buttons now open properly.
Before importing, be sure the people on your list agreed to hear from you. Importing is also the point at which imported contacts count toward your page allowance, so a very large list is worth checking against your plan first.

Do I need it to use the CRM at all?
No. Contacts from conversations and everything you do with them are included.
Is it per import?
No, it is a subscription add-on. Import as often as you like while you have it.
What if I remove it?
Contacts you already imported stay. You just cannot import or create more.
