Connecting Salla gives your AI agent access to your products and store pages, so it can answer customer questions about what you sell.
You always start in the Salla App Store
There is only one way to connect Salla: install the Mando app from the Salla App Store. Every Connect button inside the Mando dashboard, whether on the Train tab or the Salla card in your Content Library, opens that same listing rather than connecting anything itself.
This is deliberate. Salla does not show merchants their own store ID, so there is nothing useful for you to paste into Mando. The install has to begin on the Salla side.
Steps
Open the Mando listing in the Salla App Store and install it.
Mando emails the address on your Salla account a bilingual welcome message with an activation button. Watch for it, including in spam.
Select the activation button in that email.
If you are not signed in to Mando, you are taken to sign up and returned to activation automatically afterwards.
Activation then runs on its own and connects your store.
You have seven days to activate before the install needs redoing.
If the welcome email never arrives
Mando sends it to the email address Salla holds for your account. If Salla does not supply an address, no email goes out, and you will not see an error anywhere.
You can still finish the setup: open Mando from inside your Salla dashboard and use the setup card there instead.
Where to confirm it worked
Open Content Library, then Sources. The Salla card shows the store as connected, along with what has synced.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need to be an admin?
Yes. Connecting a store requires Admin or Super Admin. Members cannot.
Does connecting change my billing?
It can. Connecting Salla moves your subscription onto Salla billing, and Mando asks you to confirm before it does that.
What syncs from my store?
Your products and store pages, so your agent can answer questions about your catalogue.
