What is the Content Library

Understand how the Mando Content Library feeds your AI agents, what the Sources and Content tabs each show you, and which kinds of content can train an agent.

The Content Library is where every answer your AI agents give comes from. Anything you add here becomes knowledge your agents can draw on, and nothing they say is grounded in your business until you put something in it. It lives at organization level, so one library feeds every app in the workspace.

Sources and Content: the two tabs

The library has two views of the same knowledge, and knowing which one you want saves a lot of hunting.

  • Sources shows where knowledge comes from, grouped as tiles: Website, Files, Videos, Internal articles, Public articles, Snippets, Conversations, and any connected store such as Salla, Shopify, Zid or WooCommerce. This is where you go to add something new or check whether a sync is running.

  • Content shows the individual pieces as one list you can search, filter and act on in bulk. Each row shows its type, language, tags, who can use it, and when it was last updated. This is where you go to find one specific page and change it.

What kinds of content can train your agent

You can connect a website so Mando reads your published pages, upload documents, add video transcripts, write internal documents that only your team's agents see, and connect a store so product knowledge arrives automatically. Snippets cover short reusable answers, and conversations feed back what your agents have already learned.

Who can use each piece

Adding content does not automatically expose it to customers. Each item carries its own sharing settings that decide which apps may use it, and whether it is available to the customer-facing agent or kept for the internal co-pilot only. Check those settings when a piece of knowledge should stay private.

Frequently asked questions

Does content I add apply to all my agents?

Not automatically. The library is shared across the workspace, but each item's sharing settings decide which apps can actually use it.

Does adding content count toward my plan?

Yes. Pages in your library count toward the page allowance on your plan, so a large website sync consumes more of it than a handful of documents. See How many apps each Mando AI plan includes.

How soon can my agent use something I just added?

Not instantly. Mando has to process what you added first, which is quick for a document and takes longer for a whole website. The source tile shows progress while it works.

What is the difference between an internal article and a public article?

Internal articles are private knowledge you write for your agents. Public articles are the ones published on a help center or newsroom for your customers to read. Both can train an agent.
