How does the Mando AI voice agent connect to my phone number?
Forward your existing business number to your Mando AI voice agent over SIP. Works with any provider — Twilio, Telnyx, Vonage, or your in-house PBX. No port required, no number changes for your customers, and you can revert any time. Mando AI–provided numbers and full porting are coming soon.
What can the voice agent actually do on a call?
It greets the caller, identifies them by phone number, pulls up their order history, and answers from your knowledge base. It captures names, emails, intent, and any custom fields you set. When the caller needs a person, it hands the call to your team with the full transcript and context already attached.
Can I pick the voice and accent?
Yes. Choose any of the 19 personas in the agent settings — 13 Arabic dialects (Saudi, Gulf, Emirati, Egyptian, Levantine, Syrian, Moroccan) and 6 English variants (American, British, International). Or set the agent to International so it auto-detects the caller's language and replies in the same.
Does the voice agent support both Arabic and English on the same line?
Yes. Mando AI is bilingual by default. Customers can speak Arabic or English (or switch between them) and the agent replies in whichever language they used.
What happens to the call when the AI hands off?
The call transfers to your team's inbox with the full transcript, the customer's record, and what the AI already tried. Your team picks up exactly where the AI left off — no "can you repeat that?" needed.
How is voice usage billed?
Voice replies draw from the same monthly message allowance as chat. A typical voice reply is heavier than a text reply — plan for around 10 messages per voice exchange, depending on the model you pick. Match the model to the call's complexity in the dashboard.
